Symptoms of Environmental Illnesses – How to Find Help

For the most part, people do not believe that their immune system can be affected by environmental factors like chemicals and pollution in any way. The only people who are not aware of this are the ones who suffer from the ill effects of environmental illnesses.

The term “environmental illness” refers to a variety of ailments which are triggered when the body’s natural defence systems are weakened due to exposure to toxins from the environment.

For those who live in cities, rural areas, or the suburbs where the air, water and food are contaminated by many chemical and organic pollutants, the syndrome referred to as environmental illnesses or multiple-drug sensitivity is a real medical disorder just as serious as arthritis or diabetes.
