Objectives of Urban Regeneration and Renewal Policy

The UK Government’s Urban regeneration and renewal policy can be understood as an economic plan which will provide for a well-being community. The main objective of the Urban regeneration and renewal is to create an economic and social balance in the community by stimulating growth and development.

The concept is very simple but effective. As stated previously, the primary aim is to achieve an equal distribution of income and opportunities in the community. This is accomplished by encouraging private investment, reducing taxes on personal incomes, improving public services and investing in infrastructure.

In this day and age of global economic uncertainty, it is crucial to have a strong government policy

The Urban regeneration and renewal policy are very important in these tough times. The government must act as an enabler in encouraging the growth of new businesses and in helping small businesses through restructuring and economic stimulus packages.
